Rugby World Cup Final

The Sports Club will be open from 08.00 on Saturday serving Bacon Rolls and Sausages, tea and coffee, etc.before the main event starts at 09.00.  All welcome as plenty of room to watch what we hope will be an excellent day for England.  Bring the family.

The bar will remain open following the game for celebrations.

MEDBOURNE VILLAGE HALL

MONDAY AFTERNOON TEAS

Tea and coffee is served in the Village Hall every Monday during the hours the Hall is open for the Nurses Surgery from 2.30pm-4.30pm. Closed on Bank holidays. Please use the kitchen entrance to the small hall for the teas. The rear door is only for the patients visiting the surgery. There will be a charge of £1 for tea or coffee and a biscuit, proceeds will be passed on to the Village Hall refurbishment fund.

Wine Safari

It’s Wine Safari Time!
Tickets are strictly limited, first come first served, £20 per head includes all drinks & nibbles in each house
There will be wine & beers served

1st house                                  7.30-8.30pm

2nd house                                  8.30pm–9.30pm

Don’t forget to bring your own glass & it moves with you!

The event is “safari style” and you will be moved on to the next house after 1 hour, listen for the sound of the horn!  If you still have a full glass – no problem it moves with you!  Remember the last house finishes at 11.30pm, when the host says “all out” that’s the way to go!  No hanging on unless they say so!

Senior Citizens' Lunch

To be held at the Sports Club.

This is for Senior Citizens. The cost is £5 per person to include a lunch a sweet and tea or coffee.

Anyone who wants to join the Lunch Club (no joining fee) can contact Mike Rickman (565377) with their details and to book a place.

Participants should arrive at the Sports Club for 11.30 with the lunch at 12.30. There are no tickets but please book a place no later than the previous Friday so the Sports Club knows how many to cater for.
