Concert - Zoffany Ensemble
Concert at St Giles Church Medbourne.
Zoffany Ensemble, The London based quintet formed in 2009 by violinist Manon Derome with viola player Catherine Musker, cellist Anthony Pleeth and pianist Michael Dussek, will perform.

Cycle Event
A cycle sportive is starting in Market Harborough at approximately 9am and will pass through Medbourne sometime between then and 2pm. There are two distances, 50Km and 100Km.
Please support the cyclists as they ride through and/or join in, entries are open on the British Cycling website, www.britishcycling.co.uk.
This will be once again raising money for AdamSmile. If your village residents could be notified along with busy farms, church congregations and any riding stables this would be really helpful in delivering a safe event for all.

Music for the Sunday Eucharist
St Giles Church, Medbourne
Four young Nevill Holt Opera (NHO) artists will sing music for the Sunday Eucharist, led by NHO conductor Nicholas Chalmers.
Combined with the regular Sunday Eucharist service.
Public Recital by baritone MARK STONE
2.30pm – 3.30pm, Nevill Holt Chapel
Celebrated UK baritone Mark Stone will give a public recital of popular operatic repertoire at the Nevill Holt Chapel. Stone will make his debut in the title role of Rigoletto with Nevill Holt Opera this summer.
Stone will be joined for this recital by pianist Libby Burgess. An alumna of Uppingham School, Burgess is a pianist dedicated to the fields of song and chamber music, working with some of the finest singers and instrumentalists of her generation.
Entrance to the Stone recital is free but guests must register their attendance by emailing opera@nevillholt.co.uk

Medbourne Neighbourhood Plan Advisory Committee Meeting

H.M. The Queen's 90th Bithday
To mark the occasion of H. M. the Queen's 90th birthday the church bells will be rung at 18:30.
This will be followed by the lighting of a beacon (bonfire) at Home Farm (Beaty's) on the ascent to Nevill Holt. This will take place at 19:00.
Bring your own wine if you wish to drink a toast!
Senior Citizens' Lunch
To be held at the Sports Club.
This is for Senior Citizens. The cost is £5 per person to include a lunch a sweet and tea or coffee.
Anyone who wants to join the Lunch Club (no joining fee) can contact Mike Rickman (565377) with their details and to book a place.
Participants should arrive at the Sports Club for 11.30 with the lunch at 12.30. There are no tickets but please book a place no later than the previous Friday so the Sports Club knows how many to cater for.
